About the competition
The Lumiere Scholars Essay Award is open to high school students (grades 9 to 12) worldwide. Winners receive up to $11,000 in cash prizes and scholarships to do independent research with a PhD mentor.
Top students are invited to the Lumiere Research Symposium and Gala Dinner at the University of Oxford in July 2027, keynoted by two Nobel Laureates in Physics.
